Juin
Au son de tes jasmins
Qui donnent leur parfum
à des nuits bacchanalles
Eau qui caresse mon château
Qui guide mon pinceau
À peindre sur le sable
Toi
Une touche inattendue
Qui tombe tout d’un coup
dans mon vin Santorin
Viens
J’ai besoin de turquoise
Magenta, et topaze
Pour remplir mon dessin
Ah, je n’ose pas ouvrir
mes yeux au ciel flambant
Je suis droguée au gout
des vagues, au gout du vent
Laisse-moi boire
Laisse-moi rire
Laisse-moi m’endormir
sur ton sourire
Ah, comme je me fonse
dans la mer nue sans repentir
Je suis heureuse
et malheureuse et pour finir
Laisse-moi croire
Laisse-moi fuir
Dans la lune bleue sans revenir
Non
Ne me dit pas ton nom
Je ne veux rien savoir
Je veux seulement sentir
Oui
Offre-moi l’image
de tes yeux sauvages
comme un dernier souvenir
First discovered "Madiba" on my Spotify "Discover Weekly" list and DAMN - if it didn't grab me by the proverbial balls. Purchased it ASAP. The whole album gives me a permanent stank face. Glad I found it! noneya
Everytime I hear this album I groove like a tiny dancing Pomeranian getting a haircut. Anyone that hears this will definitely get blessed and funkified from the great Vulf. musicandmyth
I spent my New Year's hangover listening to "Sky Mall" on repeat, when I discovered my new favorite bass player. "Fugue State" is what you get if the Muscle Shoals musicians took a break to noodle around on Bach and eventually became my wake-up alarm. "First Place" reminds me of that scene in "Clerks" where Randal walks into the adult video store. t0cktock
